Let's Start With WHY
After some careful planning, today I decided to take an exciting leap into entrepreneurship by launching Outcome Orbit AI. Whenever someone asks me why I'm doing this, the answer always starts with the "Why" behind my journey.
I've been fortunate in my career, working with some fantastic tech companies like Dell and Google. Throughout this journey, I've witnessed firsthand how technology can empower businesses across different sizes and industries. The excitement always came from seeing our customers grow and thrive through the solutions we provided.
The last five years gave me a front-row seat to the exciting rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI). When I first joined Google Cloud back in 2020, AI was mostly an intriguing concept tucked away in research labs and experimental departments. Honestly, it was like the wild-haired scientist of the tech world—fascinating but a bit inaccessible to everyday business.
Then came the "winter of ChatGPT" in 2022-2023, and suddenly AI was everywhere! Boards and executives everywhere started scrambling for their own "AI strategy." And although many ideas fizzled out quickly, a handful of applications proved incredibly impactful, genuinely reshaping industries and creating new ones altogether.
However, amidst all this buzz, I noticed something important—small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) were largely left on the sidelines. While big corporations were diving headfirst into AI opportunities, local businesses—the heartbeat of our communities—weren't keeping pace, mainly due to limited resources and uncertainty about where to start.
This observation sparked my essential "Why." I passionately believe that SMBs should have every opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology like AI—not just to thrive, but to survive. Ignoring these tools isn't just about missing opportunities; it's about risking their very future.
A big part of my "Why" is also deeply personal—I want to help the next generation grow up with the literacy and confidence to leverage AI in their daily lives. My son serves as my main beacon, constantly reminding me of the importance of preparing future generations to thrive in an AI-driven world.
That's exactly why Outcome Orbit AI was born. Our mission is simple yet powerful: help local SMBs easily adopt AI tools that deliver clear, measurable results. We aim to demystify AI, making it straightforward, practical, and profitable for every business owner out there.
